If you are visiting the So\u010da Valley for the first time and want to experience something more adventurous than hiking and sightseeing, canyoning in Su\u0161ec is one of the best places to start.<\/p>\n

Located only about 7 km from Bovec in the direction of Kobarid, Su\u0161ec Canyon is often described as a natural water park. Instead of artificial slides and swimming pools, imagine clear mountain water, smooth rock formations, small waterfalls and natural pools hidden between the mountains of the So\u010da Valley.<\/p>\n

The experience combines walking, swimming, sliding down naturally polished rocks, jumping into pools and descending through the canyon under the supervision of a professional guide. There are several canyoning locations around Bovec, ranging from relatively accessible adventures to much more technical descents involving high waterfalls and extensive rope work. Su\u0161ec is particularly popular with people trying canyoning for the first time. Its relatively easy access, natural slides, pools and manageable waterfalls make it an excellent introduction to this outdoor activity.<\/p>\n

You do not need previous canyoning experience. Your guide explains how to move safely through the canyon and how to approach the different slides, jumps and descents.<\/p>\n

That does not mean Su\u0161ec is boring. Quite the opposite.<\/p>\n
